The Mirror Game isn't anything new. In fact, from what I've gathered through research, which isn't much, is that it dates back to the Victorian era, maybe even a little before. Sometimes thought of as a "parlor trick," the game was most often played alone, and the most interesting stories come from those who tried it by themselves, rather than with anyone else in the room.j

I personally haven't played the game awake. And yes, I mean that literally. I have played the game in a dream. No, I'm not joking, and I do redcall vividly what I saw.

The entire dream was the game, nothing more, nothing less.

What You Need to Play the Game & What to Do

What you'll need to play the game is a fairly empty room, or at least one with the least reflective items inside. Meaning, you will be using a large mirror, preferably a standing mirror, and other mirorrs, glass objects, even metal or bright objects will detract from the results of the game. The perfect scenario for the game is an empty room with only a chair, a mirror, and you.

Now understand that there IS an optional item you can use: a candle. Try the game with and without the candle and see which one works best for you. Different people have different results using either method.

What you will do once you get your area and supplies ready is simple: Place the mirror in the center of the room and make sure ALL windows are completely covered so no light or moonlight enters. Place your chair in front of the mirror, then turn off the lights. Take your seat and look into the mirror. Look as long as necessary and try to clear your mind comppletely.

Relax your eyes. By that I mean to not focus on anything. Look at your face, but try not to focus completely as if you're 'staring off into space' only looking at your reflection. If you're using a candle, place the candle so that it doesn't cast shadows on you from the sides. If you can, place the candle on the floor in front of you in a place where the candle flame wont be reflected in the mirror; you want only your reflection there. Without a candle, allow time for your eyes to adjust.

Now watch your reflection. Notice the changes when they come. Sometimes the changes are quick and startling, and sometimes they're slow and subtle at first.

Did you play the game? What did you see in the mirror?

Write everything down that you saw for later reference (we tend to forget things), and keep a journal if you're planning on doing this several times. Note everything; clothing style changes, facial feature differences, anything that appears in the room around you (by reflection, of course).

These changes are said to be that of past lives, that the residual energies from our past leave an imprint on, in, and around us, that we carry this with us for eternity.
