Halloween at The Corridors

Halloween will forever be the most memorable in my mind. I won't repeat the history here: there are plenty of web sites for that information. The Corridors is not about recounting history, nor is it about being politically correct. It is about imagination, the magical quality it holds for many of us. I mean, let's face it, growing up is tough and the responsibilities as an adult are huge. So why not maintain a little of the inner-child and have some fun with those memories from long ago, to feel the cold October wind on our faces, hear the rustling limbs of the trees as their leaves dance in the wind and race the gutters alongside the street? Why not try and remember that fluttering in our stomachs as we approach our neighbor's door and knock?

Here we are young again, and every day we prepare for Halloween by carving the jack-o-lantern while the spicy scent of burning leaves drifts lazily around the yard like ghosts who've come to dance with us. So what IS Halloween? Well, by now you should know what I think it is, what my memories carry, but now it's for you to tell.
