Take me away, sweet sandman, to spun-sugar castles and cherry cool-aid seas. Float me along a crystal ship with diamond anchors beneath a shimmering glitter moon. Deliver me from the daylight horrors of an oucast world; embrace me with the fluttering wings of night. Cradle my head with soft pillows of silken down, and whisper your shattered lullabyes so I may sleep.

I've been good, sweet sandman, so please, just sweet dreams for me. Keep your anger and darkness aloft of my soul, and your nightmares away from me. I lay awake and listen to the night sounds, hoping to feel your dark arms about me, to lay my head against your riggored chest and dream. The shadows are whispering. Is it you?

Be gentle, sweet sandman.

...He's coming soon to a nightmare near you!
